There are 5 full time members of staff at Glasgow Film Office:
Jenny joined GFO as Head of Production in 2002. She works with local production companies, crew and facility companies to build and maintain a strong film and television infrastructure in Glasgow. She liaises with mobile productions to encourage them to use Glasgow as a production base and provides a liaison service to film-makers using the Film Charter for the City of Glasgow.
Beverley was the Film Liaison Officer for GFO from 2002 to 2005. In her current role, she provides customised business support services to growth oriented facilities and services companies and to smaller production companies in Glasgow. Beverley assists client companies with the preparation and execution of sound forward strategies to develop their businesses in a way that will yield greater economic impact in terms of employment and market opportunity.
Jennifer joined GFO in 2000 as Production and Marketing Assistant and has been employed in her present capacity since 2002. Jennifer is responsible for measuring and monitoring the performance of GFO against targets set by our funders and for gathering of market intelligence relating to film and television production activity within Glasgow. Through liaison with industry agencies and production companies, she analyses primary and secondary data which helps to devise strategies that maximise the benefit provided by GFO to local companies.
Hamish has been employed by GFO since 1998 and has seen GFO grow from a modest team of three to its current complement of six. He is primarily responsible for monitoring the financial aspects of the GFO - reporting to the Management Group, paying suppliers and processing grants and loans to client companies as required.
